Typically how long before you are notified of Immediate Failure?

I have just submitted my assignment and took the test last Thursday, I am currently very anxious about the submission and wonder if anyone knows how long will it be typically before you are notified of an Immediate Failure? I figure that I will stand a better chance of passing if I get past the Immediate Failure stage.

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

Welcome to JavaRanch and this forum.

I would suspect that all the testing is done back to back. That is, automatic failure issues are inspected first, immediatly followed by automated testing, immediately followed by manual code inspection and scoring.

We have had people who have received complete results back in a very short period of time (only a few days after submission), and we have had people who have waited until almost the end of the six weeks before finding out that they have had an automatic failure. There does not seem to be any particular pattern to it.

Regards, Andrew
