Hi,
In the "Network Approaches" section of my instruction,
one sentence reads "In either case, the program must allow the user to specify the location of the database, and..."

What is meant by the database?
Is it the database file location of the file system?
Or is it the network ip of the server?

How would you interpret this instruction sentence?

Best Regards,
Scott

Hi, Scott!

The answer to your question is both. For local mode, the program must allow the user to find a local db file; for remote modee, the program must allow the user to specify the URL where to find the remote data source.

Hope this helps.
