Where do I begin on SCJD ? I do have K&B. I've also taken Sun's JB-341 boot camp. Will this be all that I need (obviously with experience)? Help! I'm still on a high and have to keep the momentum goint!

Spend time reading on OO, Java Networking, Multi-threading, IO Streams, Java Swing and I think you are ready to go for it. With regards, Clivant SCJP , SCJD

Hi Marcus, Congratulations on becomming a SCJP! I recommend you purchase and download your SCJD assignment (if you have not already done so). Then you can see what is required, and start studying the specific areas you need, asking questions in this forum whenever you get stuck. If you are looking for a book on SCJD, the best book I have seen so far is Max Habibi's The Sun Certified Java Developer Exam with J2SE 1.4 . Regards, Andrew
