Hi ranchers:
In my remote object I declare my logger as

I feel interesting about how do the Logger perform logging in the client side. Will the client side initialize the Logger use the setting of client JVM? I have tested it in my env, seems it still log message to the specific file of server correctly. Is it right because we log the message only in the method block and surely the physical execution will be passed back to server. so the log can still perform correctly and any setting in the client JVM must not effect the LOGGER of remote object, am I right?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
