I knew something will happen . I tried to open the CertManager website to upload my submission jar. The site is down It's weekend and I have my essay exam tomorrow morning Beside of that, do I need to tell Sun to set my upload rights permission? That could be the next trap I step in . I sent one email to: suncert@prometric.com, suncert@thomson.com, who2contact@central.sun.com, scjd_payment@central.sun.com Now it's sunday and I will definitely don't get an answer til tomorrow morning. Is there anything I can do? Please advise. Regards, Darya [ June 26, 2005: Message edited by: Darya Akbari ]

hello, I recommend to send them yet an other email in which you include the MD5sum of your submission jar file. You can use jchecksum to compute it. This way you prove that you did not change it after taking the essay exam. I recommend to go to the exam anyway and upload your project as soon as possible. Kai

hello, jchecksum requires 1.5. If you want to get 1.5 soon anyway I recommend to download it. Otherwise you can search for an other checksum tool. You can also use the webstart link on that website. Then the latest JRE (not JDK) will be downloaded and installed automatically, and the program will be launched automatically. Kai

Hi Darya, Take a look at what the JavaRanch SCJD FAQ has to say about such cases. Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew, I read the FAQ, but it looks to me like a 50/50 chance. Regards, Darya
