I'm new here. Is the JavaRanch site really powered by cgi perl scripts? What am I missing?

This forum is powered by Perl. There is only one decent Java forum (Jive) and it doesn't have all the features that we need. We have looked into switching over and will continue to look into it.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
