I have completed the coding and documentation for my exam but I'm not sure what to do next. I looked at my "requirements" HTML file, and it did not say where to turn in the assignment. So far, I have only purcased CX-310-252A, which cost $250.00. Do I need to purchase CX-310-252B in order to upload the assignment to Sun? Or do I just need to know the right web-site? Lara

Yes you have to purchase CX-310-252B for $150 to complete your assignment. After you submit your code (get authorization by sending email to Sun to upload your code) go for essay exam.

Hi Lara - the original e-mail Prometric sent when they gave me download rights says:
Before you will be able to upload your assignment you will need to request upload rights via email to: suncert@Thomson.com <mailto:suncert@Thomson.com> . Please be sure to include your Prometric Testing ID and the name of the assignment you want to upload {Architect or Developer} when you request your upload rights.
Then if you go to: CertManager Database and follow the instructions you should be able to login in and upload your assignment once you have permissions. Having done all that, you need to schedule the essay part of the exam (CX-310-027), and only when you've sat that will they mark your assignment. Hope that helps.

The below is from the FAQ, and I hope it is helpful to you.
* Help - I cannot upload my assignment This is a very common problem. The first day you try to upload your assignment, you will get an error saying that you don't have permission to upload the assignment. When you see this error you should also see an address to write to in order to get your permissions updated (mailto:SunCert@prometric.com). By the next day you should be able to upload your assignment.

Will suncert@Thomson.com send a response to say that upload permission is configured? Or should I just try to upload a day after emailing them?

easy going, both works... you cannot upload without permission, so there is no way of making any mistakes. if you buy the second voucher, you'll also settle an interview / test appointment for you application. as soon as you get this date confirmed, you'll be able to upload. as far as i know you can upload as close to that date as you want. i uploaded in the middle of the night, just a few hours before... good luck! jan
