How to open my assignment?

I have already download my assignment which is a .jar file.Its size is only 10k.How I can open it and read my instruction of my assignment?

WinZip or 7zip or WinRAR ought to do the trick. In fact most archival software should be able to help you open it. Or you could use the Java Jar command to.

Hi
Use the command in-built Java tool(Jar): jar -xvf "the archive name", it shoud extract to the current directory. Have a nice day!
