I wasnt exactly sure where to put the search in the GUI.
I am using a JTable in a scrollpane, and the frame is has a borderlayout.

North I have the toolbar, center is the jtable, south is a place holder for something like status.

What is the best approach for search that people have followed.
1. InputBox
2. two text fields and then a search button
3. any other

2-3 choices, radio buttons
few choices, select
many choices, text input (combo filtering optional)
suggestions and new input, combo

Notice that few and many are relative.

It does not look quering db for choices (since you would have to do that everytime an input object is used), so i guess we should use a regular text input for each field.

I am far from the GUI implementation and never wrote a Swing interface.
Lol I guess I just shouldn't be answering this topic, but...
