Hello all,

I have a question about the values of Column Name. We already know the structure of the database, so can we use an array to set the vaules used for getColumnName() manually in a tableModel class? or we have to define another interface to get these values by programming? I do not want to define another interface to do this, is it OK?

Thank you very much.

Hi Hua,

I believe that people have passed in the past by defining the names in the tabel model, just make sure that you document your reasons.

I personally choose to extend the interface to provide the database schema as I felt it provided a more flexible design.

regards
Jason
