Or can you take as long as you want to complete it ?
I've had mine 18 months aleady without handing it in.

You can take as long as you want. Your submission must run in the current production version of JDK if it has superceeded the version you have purchased by 18 months. Which means, if you submit your assignment now, it must run under Java 5.

I have mine for 2 years and passed 2.5 months ago. Mine is done in 1.4.
