Is this part of the code acceptable? Without this line my RMI does not work on different machines

no, you're not allowed to require RMI security.

It will work fine without if you set it up correctly.

Thanks!! I got it resolved. But can you tell me one thing. java 5.0 says that you do not need to have stubs created as it dynammically downloads it. Now i do not know if it runs rmic and gets it done etc
but when you export it with


it workds fine but with


it failed
