Does the exam have time limit?

Hi guys,

I downloaded the assignment of SCJD nearly 2 years before, and haven't finished and submitted it because of some reasons.

Now I think I'm ready to do it, but I'm worried about the time limit. As I know there's no such limit before, but I'm worrying if the rule has been changed. Could anybody help me? So I can back on to do the assignment. Thanks!

The assignment has no time limit, the essay exam has.
There is a restriction to the assignment though, you MUST use the most recent producttion version of the language or one that's not been replaced for more than 18 months.
At the moment that means you MUST use 1.5. When 1.6 is released the clock starts ticking and 18 months later you are no longer allowed to use 1.5.

Thanks. I got it. But is the Beta release or Alpha release the production version? Should I use either of them?

According to the exam spec, you are only allowed to use production release of JDK.

I also delayed for 2 years. Now I am making it my top priority goal to complete what I have started.

"Jia You"! May both of us cleared the exam with flying colors.

Delay - me too. I got to stop working long hours.

yes, so we have 18 months before we either have to give up or use that crappy thing.
