Waiting for uploading rights from Sun

Hi all,

I'm a bit frustrated because I don't get any answer from SUN even if I sent the email of request one week ago.
How long have I to wait?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Roberto,

In my case it took a weekend and a working day.

Actually, I bought the voucher on a Friday and I phoned on Monday to get rights. The rights are granted on Tuesday.

Hi Hummel and others,

just to avoid misunderstanding,
- I actually bought only step 1/2 in July 2006
- I finished the assignment and I tried to upload it on Saturday the 26th of May. Since it didn't work, I immediately sent an email to SunCert@thomson.com without receiving any answers.
- Yesterday I sent another email to who2contact@central.sun.com

What else have I to do (apart waiting)?

Thanks!

Hi Roberto,

For example the topic upload rights gives you some ideas.

I phoned Sun and after 6 hours I had the rights. Prometric ( local, and the national one) could not helped at all. Sun did take care of my issues.

Thanks Hummel,

I'm always more and more frustrated.
Today I called SUN educational but SUN told me that is not responsible for that (only Prometric).
Have I buy the vaucher for the second part of the exam before getting upload rights?

Hi all,

I just received rights to upload in reply to the email I sent to who2contact@central.sun.com from certification@educationservicesgroup.com (the name of the guy is Eric Boice)

I probably discovered the reason for the delay.
In the certmanager site you get the error "You do not have the rights to upload that assignment. Press the "Back" button on your browser and try another assignment. If you feel that you should have the ability to upload, please email us at SunCert@Prometric.com for assistance. ".
But actually the right email address should be SunCert@thomson.com as written in the email we receive for providing the rights to download.

Strange things...:-)

My experience with Sun and Prometric are both A+ (so far). My time to wait for the upload rights were just 2 hours after I sent the email, and it was during the evening.

After I this thread I sent a mail to suncert@thomson, and suncert@prometric and they replied to both of my mails and I finally submitted.

Time to fix an appointment with the local prometric centre here now...
