What id/pwd for sun_assignment

I just paid for the SCJD assignment and received email from SunCert instructing me to go to sun_assignment to download the assignment. None of the id/pwds I have been using for sun sites work on this page. What id/pwd are they looking for?

The change password page is even worse. I can't even figure out what they are asking for. One of the input fields is test date. I have no idea what that could be referring to.

I have sent three emails to the help email address provided on the page and gotten no response.

So I'm stuck. I welcome any suggestions.

Hi William,

On our Faq you can find the web page link cert manager. This cert manager is the side where you have to create a login, if you have not done it right now.

The user name is your ID, see also the faq link. The ID is in my case the prometric id, like sr???. The password can you define by your own, when you create your login.

Just look to cert manager and create a login and then go further to the side to get to the learning history to download/upload your assignment.

Thanks for the reply. I can't believe this login business is so hard to figure out but I am still completely stuck. Could you try to answer a couple of other questions?

First of all. What login is being asked for by the certManager site? There is no link to create a new login so I'm assuming that they are asking for a login that was created at some earlier step of the process. Where was this login created? Could I just go there and create a new login/pwd or is the login/pwd somehow already connected to the SCJD assignment I paid for?

Secondly, what is the certManager site asking for on the change password page? I could take a stab at changing my password to get into the download page but these values are as much a mystery as the login that I apparently never created.
The fields are:
Candidate Name - name as it appears on Suns info site?
Candidate ID - the info site lists prometric ID and another called candidate id.
Registration Number - a complete mystery
Test Date - I tried every date listed on the history page

I hope this frustration at just getting the assignment does not foreshadow what one must go through to get the assignment uploaded.

Thanks for any help or pointers,

Hey Will,

I remember how difficult this was to get. The best thing I can tell you is remember when they told you to keep a copy of the test score... it wasn't for showing off. All the information is on that page. I can at least from a prometric standpoint say that. You'll need to get a copy of that. I mean the business cards are cool and the pin...yah I wear it to work and get beat up after but if there is anything you really's that. If you can't locate it, I would recommend contacting both your test location or sun directly to get the information you need.

Best of luck!!

Thanks for the reply and encouragement. I was reading through old posts and I found one pointing out that the help email address on the login page was wrong. The correct address for login help is I got an immediate reply from an email to this address and it looks like things are moving along.

I'll post a summary of the ordeal when I make it through the download stage .

I was finally able to download the assignment. I thought I'd summarize what is involved in case anyone else has the same experience.

Your login DOES NOT EXIST when you first go to the download location. You must create one even thought all the text on the page talks about changing your password as if you have a login already.

The values you need to fill in are from the examination score report. The one stamped in red; "DO NOT LOSE THIS REPORT". With the exception of registration number, all the values are also on your history page on the I7 site.

I agree. Here's the link:
