Hi, Im planning to avail of Sun's free retake promo for exam vouchers, yet I have some concerns since Im thinking of using it for SCJD exam: 1) for SCJD exam, do we need two separate vouchers for the assignment and essay exam? 2) if I take advantage of the retake promo and fail the first time, will I be given a different assignment for my second try? 3) how does code resubmission work? I understand that we need to pay an additional amount to be able to resubmit the work in case we fail the first time? 4) what's the difference of code resubmission and exam retake? (sound obvious but i'd still wanna bring it up )
You cannot really fail the essay exam, unless perhaps you don't turn up. Provided you explain your choices convincingly, and show that it was you that did the assignment, not someone else - you can't fail it. More important: check Sun's offer - it is not available for SCJD.
Commonly, you can use the promo voucher to take 310 series exam. SCJD has two separate parts and the assignment part's price is $250(310-252A), and the most 310 series exam are under $200. So, I also believe that's because of the money.
