Hi ranchos,

I have follwoing instructions:

in upload:
The name of your submission archive file MUST be derived from your Testing ID, as shown above.

in assigment:
The executable JAR containing the programs. This must be called runme.jar.

How should I name my jar file?

Thanks,
Maciej

for your jar file name .... I think it should be scjda-xxxxxxxxx.jar. don't forget that "a".

Where is this information available?

I can't find anything like this in my assignment or in FAQ on certmanager page.

I have to dig out my original email. The part about "runme.jar" is in the instructions under "Deliverables", then sub-topic "Packaging of Submissions". I can't find the name of the submitted jar, either. I think it is in that email.

I am missing where the scjda... file is mentioned? All I have in my directions is the following:
Packaging of Submissions
All elements of your submission must be packaged in a single JAR file. The JAR file must have the following layout and contents in its root:
  • The executable JAR containing the programs. This must be called runme.jar.

  • So isn't it the the runme.jar that needs to be uploaded. Or is there a direction on the upload page that tells you to rename your file?

I guess there must be something on the "upload page".

John, I think you are right. The email isn't that explicit. You need to know your prometric ID (Which is probably going to be part of the submission jar name). runme.jar is INSIDE the submission jar, that part is clear to me. I will worry more about it when I get closer to being ready to submit!

    scjda-<promteric id>.jar

    i.e. srxxxxxxx

above file name contains runme.jar and everything else mention in instructions.html
