(one day it will be funny story, but that's not today)

Week ago, I paid for voucher (prioritized payment = should appear on other account in real-time), so the money should be at Sun immediately. Money are gone, but Sun received no payment.
Where is the problem? Nobody knows and there is no way to check where is the problem. One bank can't share any information about clients to another bank/client. Sun is willing to talk, but if said, that they can't see anything on their account.

I spent whole day on phone (and then personally went to bank), arguing with bank bureaucrats, but there is nothing you can do. Bank can confirm, that the payment was sent (of course for a small fee!) and then you are on your own.

So the only legal solution seems to be, to get some paper from my bank and sue Sun for not giving me the voucher for SCJD.

Let's just hope they won't fail me, I don't want to experience this all over again.

I bet, that once this is resolved I'll get no explanation what went wrong. My bank will say, that payment was sent, Sun will say, no payment was received until DD-MM... and the other bank won't tell anything. Why should they talk to me, I'm not their client?

(I hope, it will be possible to resolve this peacefuly, I'm just a little annoyed at the moment,.. )

yeah in this case credit payment is best. I love it because you are not responsible for unauthorized charges. Banks sometime act as a bunch of morons..

Did you make the transfer from your bank account or just a transfer via another bank.Anyway in both cases, the bank should give you paper that proves that you have ordered the transfer. In my case, I have scanned this paper and sent it to SUN (UAE) by email and I received the the permission to resubmit my
assignment in the following day.

My advice before trying to take a legal action is to try to contact SUN management about this issue. I had a wrong failure problem with my second SCJD submission and it took me one month before I convinced SUN that they evaluated an assignment that is not mine. (Mine was Bodgitt and Scraper, the assessor judged my assignment according to the URL Birdy standards).

Try to contact the SUN Certification Manager(Gary Fluit), he seems to be cooperative in such issues. In my case , SUN gave me a free exam voucher becuase of the long delay in my mark.

If you want I can give you the Phone Numbers and Emails of people in SUN Certification departement.

Thanks.. I hope those numbers can be used world-wide. Just sent me private message. I'll see what comes out of this, I hope I won't need them.

I'm just annoyed, that there is no easy way for me as bank client to check whether payment was received. It was sent,.. but this is the last point you can check. From this point on, you have nobody to contact, who can provide you any information.

In imaginary case, that I would send money to Company A, and Company A receives money, but acts as if they didn't receive it. What can you do? You don't know where is the problem. Your bank? The Company A's bank? Clearing center? Company A? And you must play detective until you even know who should you complain at.

Personally, I'd sooner believe that the problem is in this case with one of the banks involved. Banks have a tendency to keep money in a bit longer, because in this way they can get extra interest over it. Not much for every amount, but because they do it so often, they gain quite some money. In the Netherlands, a guys sued the banks for this, but I don't know the outcome.

You are correct, it was the fault of the bank on side of receiver. Payment was delayed for unknown reason. So in fact I paid a small fee for priority payment, which was perhaps 3-times slower than non-priority.
