I have completed my SCJP 1.5 and want to persue SCJD but am confused... I am new to topics like RMI and Locking so should I first study these topics and then register for the exam or should I register for the exam see what my project requires and demands and accordingly start studying ??

I study as I do the assignment. Of course, this may lead to huge changes it the project code if you discover desing errors as you learn, but if this doesn't bother you I recommend this approach :-)

Hi, I think studying alone without applying your knowledge in a project similar to the assignment's project won't help gain the nkowledge you are looking for. I suggest Anita way, at least this is the way that's working for me.
