Check this out: SCJD Reading Materials
I personally recommend this book: The Sun Certified Java Developer Exam with J2SE 5, Second Edition
One of the authors, Andrew Monkhouse, takes part in this forum on occasion. Many other posters use it, so you will hear about it frequently on the forum. It is inexpensive and available on Amazon, and very useful for this certification.

OK, thanks for the reply, as soon as I finished with my book, I'll buy that book.
