Hi guys,

I have question about the method find in DB interface provided by SUN.
here is the desc of the method in my instruction:

here "Field n in the database file is described by criteria[n].", where it will be passed? i think it's from the client, not in the database file; so how to understand it? and it returns the recNo, but when the client want to find the room records, then want to return the arraylist of the room records, instead of the recNo, it seems the interface DB is not for the client, can we write the other interface for the client? it's strange.

Thank you!
Ronggen

Yeah I wrote another find function which will be the interface for the client which uses the databases find(). The interface find() will then return the list of records, which I believe is really what the user wants.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
