// Deletes a record, making the record number and associated disk
// storage available for reuse.
// Throws SecurityException if the record is locked with a cookie
// other than lockCookie.
public void delete(int recNo, long lockCookie)

making the record number and associated disk storage available for reuse.

The above quote would imply; that a delete flag for the specific record be set to 1 indicating a deleted field: making it avaliable for reuse by the create method?

Thanks
