Hi,
How are you handling the fatal database exceptions, for example if, when reading from the raf, an IOException other that EOFExceptions happens ? Server shutdown ? The client must also be informed that something bad happened at the server side.. First throw the Exception to reach the client layer, then shutdown server? Or simply leave the Exception to propagate to
the client and do nothing , waiting for the IO problem to go away ?
Any ideas, comments ?
Thanks,
Liviu
