Q1: Which java.awt.GridBagConstraints variables are irrelevant for a component, if
fill = fill.BOTH is selected for this component.

Q2: What is the range of the weightx variable ?

A. the same as integer values
B. the same as double values
C. from 0.0 to Double.MAX_VALUE
D. from 0.0 to 1.0

the answer to the first question is a)Anchor. I don't know what is answer for the second question. can any one answer the second question

[1] anchor, because it controls how to locate the component into the container, since the component will fill the whole container, using anchor has no meaning
[2] 0.0 to Double.MAX_VALUE
