Guys, I took the SCJP2 exam yesterday, and cleared with 90%! The first five questions i got, i wasn't sure of the answer. They included questions from files, gridbaglayout, a couple of fill in the blanks. Probably that may have been because of the fear of the real exam. At that time i was thinking i may have to come here again. But later i started getting questions for which i was sure of the answer, and i gained confidence and felt i could do the exam. The review was assuring to me. I may have changed just 1 answer in the review process. Not a great score, not a bad score either, but I am happy with what I got. Javaranch has been a very good place to prepare for the exam. I started following this site since about a month and a half. I want to thank Paul, Jim and Tony for maintaining such a good site where so many people can benefit. I never felt that i am all by myself during my prep. Thanks to everybody here in the ranch for your discussions! You have been great help!!

Thanks! Well, my scores in mock tests were averaging around 85%. I don't remember getting any question out of syllabus. I got about 5 on awt(component & Layout) and a couple on file i/o if i remember it correctly. I will definitely keep visiting Javaranch.
And how do you know it's Mr. NewJava2User, eh Ms. Maha? (Of course I'm making a guess here too - "Anna" could be a man's name in some part of the world.) Anyway - Hey, NewJava2User, Congratulations! Whoever you are. (-:
Congratulations! were ever thrown off by the english on questions, were they ambigious at all?

Thank you Maha Anna, Jim and Anju. The questions were not ambiguous at all. As such, there were no tricky questions. If i remember correctly, the questions in the flow control & exceptions, garbage collection, Threads, overloading, fundamnetal & event listeners, operators & Assignment were all mutiple choice and input/output, java.util , java.awt(components and layouts), 1 question from Threads and overriding were single choice questions. Hope i have answered all u'r questions! Thanks again.
