Does anybody know whether SCJP 1.2 exam expects us to know all the values of Unicode char i.e, individual values of 'u\XXXX'.
Thanks.

I've never heard of any questions depending on individual values, and can't imagine that any would ever be asked.

You do not need to know what the Unicode representation of any character is.

Shan- sure. Just cast it to an int, and print it. If you want it in hexadecimal, use Integer.toHexString(int).
Since this isn't certification-related, followups to Shan's question should probably go to Java In General.
