I programmed C before, now I'm learning Java. I was wondering which book is good for an absolute java beginner. I understand OOP, UML stuff ith C, but no java at all.
I was reading Just Java 2, I didn't like the way it was presented to me.
How about the WROX beginner to java 2 book?

and if thats not enough reading ...I know that there is
a similar discussion session named "beginners". Maybe
that would help.
This discussion is mostly about the programmer certification.
Hope this help.
