Hi all,
I've completed the exam today and scored (a very low)75 % but passed . And that's OK for me.
Special thanks to Maha,Tony,Jim,Paul,Ajith,Satya,Suma,Herbert,Sree and all others who helped me alot in getting the things straight.
Regarding the exam, let me be frank, I felt it a bit tough . As you can see my %, I barely passed. I donno whether the question bank database got changed or what, but 30-40% of the question format is unknown to me. Having said that, let me add - don't take my opinions for granted - because I've started seriously preparing for only past two months and I've no OOP background at all. Also I've done only 5-6 mocks including Marcus Green. So may be I've not prepared well..
Anyways, I'm happy that I got certified.
Once again thanks to one and all in Javaranch.
Prabhu.

Prabhu,
CONGRATULATIONS!!!. What really matters is that U had passed.
Forget about the score and enjoy your weekend. In this context would like to quote one of my friends (a fine lady) but I think the moderators may not permit it.
Once again Congratulations!!!

Congrats, Prabhu.
I for one, don't think its a low score. I know how hard it is.
If someone tells me that its easy ...yada yada yada...
I wouldn't really take it for granted. everyone has his/her
way of preparation and the skill set varies.
And then you also know why you did like this....no OOP
background.....two months..hmmmm. I say you should be
really really happy of your achievment. Its really a good
score.
Best of luck.

Congrats Prabhu!
You are now certified - basta! Great Stuff!
You mentioned some question format was different. What do you mean? Please give me an idea! More "fill in the textfield" questions perhaps?
Thanks!!

Hey Prabhu,
Congratulations. Don't feel depressed. Its all about crossing the river - who reaches the other bank first hardly matters. You are only required to come out alive !!
Given your background, I should say you have treaded it quite well. Have a blast!

Hi Prabhu,
Congratulations!!! Sure it is not a low score. You are now CERTIFIED. That's a Big achievement. Enjoy!!! My best wishes to you in all your future Java endeavors.
Once again, that's not a low score at all. What matters is that you are a SCJP now.
Best wishes.

Hi ,
Congratulations on being an SCJP2 first.
dont get nervous about the score, it was the commitment on your
part that bought u here, thats more than enough if u can carry that on further then u can achieve a lot more.
Even i felt very nervous at the exam but scored only 88 %.
Thats okay , ''what counts more is what u do after being an SCJP2.''
All the best 4 ur career prospects.
Bye

Congrats, Prabhu!
And w/o OOP knowledge and two months, it's fine. I didn't have any OOP either when I started studying Java.
