peeyush09: you are on the right direction....www.javaranch.com I would also suggest that you get to the SUN cert homepage and check it out. There are sample qstns there. Working in java is a little different from the java cert knowledge. While working, we kave all the knowledge, but for the cert exam, it needs a more specific direction. Following one of the cert books (on top) would defenitely help. Also, a lot of FREE mock exams can be found on the web. Doing these mock exams will help you have a feel for the type of qstns on the exam. And lastly, follow the discussions of your fellow aspirants. Participate and improve knowledge. All the best. Yep, Satya got it right. Once you have read all the books, seen all the mock exams, come here for a daily dose of freshly brewed Java. Participate and improve knowledge. Make it a great learning experience for you and others. Ajith

As for study material, I passed the cert after studying Java for 7 months, the most valuable tools were the Java 2 Certification study guide. Spend most of your time memorizing this. Then do some of the mock exams listed on this Web Page, the question are alot like the round up. If you memorize the Cert Book you will pass no problem........
