Hi SuryaK, You have to be thorough in 'Java Basic Concepts' like -------Keywords and Data types range -------Declaration & Access COntrol -------Overloading and Overriding -------Flow Control & Exception -------Threads Actually Marcus mock exam,Bill exams, and read javaranch ,these really will help you very well. My real exam score is very close to Marcus & Bill exam scores. But it seems, from your another post, you are really ready for the exam. Best of Luck. Nirmala

Dear Nirmala, Please guide me about the write-in ques. asked in the exam. Are they hard and what topics are covered in them. Are there instructions to type in some format?

Hi Aparnaji, I forgot to mention about Media tracker.

socket, i.e. Networking is not included in the SCPJ2 exam. You do have to know that a socket is a source of input (or used for output for that matter). That's all. The details of MediaTracker are not included but you'd do well in reviewing http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.2/docs/api/index.html esp. the "WaitFor..." methods as they relate to Threads. Nirmala
