Passed SCJP with 90 % I passed SCJP with 90% in last week. I thank you all at Javaranch - Ur queries, answers and experience has indeed helped me. I also found the round up games and mockexam list especially useful. I am sharing my experience which would be specially useful for those who have constraints of time or some other type. I am a working woman having a small kid, raising him all alone, only with help of old parents and hence i had constraints of time and energy. Also i don't have c/ c++ background - i am basically Oracle professional. So i found my score to be a reason of great happiness. I underwent special coaching for exam based on RHE from an IITian. I used RHE for preparation and later Exam Cram. I solved around 12 to 15 mock exams, some of them even twice, since my initial score was not good. I had to take 3 weeks off before exam and last 8 to 10 days, i was preparing for almost 12 hours per day. I found round up games, review questions on jaworski site useful for clarity of concepts. Among mock exams i found that following together simulate real test qtns to a large exent - Marcus Green 3 exams, Jxam - 200 qtns, Jaworski - 171 qtns, applied reasoning, majji, boone, khalid, exam cram.
Can't control myself from being senti - My parents' support and encouragement formed a driving force ! My kid's smile and activities offered good relaxation, of course !! And yee - 3 Cs, pay a lot - Confidence, Concentration and Cool .. !
