Thank you for being so kind , Javaranch. I passed the exam yesterday with a score of 74%. Not that high but I still make it!
But I'm thinking of retaking the exam to improve my score. What do you think? :confused

ibm,
retaking the exam is not really necessary as nowhere on the certificate will your scores be mentioned. this is just my opinion. for personal satisfaction, you may want to do so...
congrats anyway,

A new test will be out Oct/Nov 2000 that is a new java test but
it covers all of the same topics. Sun was going to add swing
but chickened out.

Hi ibm
I think retaking the exam is waste of money. This is just my opinion.

Thanks for giving me some light regarding whether I'm going to take the exam or not. I know it is a waste of money... And I know work experience count as much as the score but I'm just anticipating whether possible employer would still ask for the score that you've got and make that score as a basis on hiring an applicant.
