hi,there,
finally, (not a keyword , I passed SCJP2 with 86% ten minutes ago. I would like to thank you guys and this valuable forum. Thank you maha, jim, ajith, tony, marcelai, deekhsa, mita.........
now, I want to share my part to everybody: I got one gridbaglayout, one socket, one mediatracker, 6 typing, 4-5 thread, 3 util and two AWT (just two, surprise!), and of course, lots of fundations. actually, for socket and mediatracker, you can consider as file I/O and thread questions, so if you have basic I/O knowledge and understand thread, you should not have a problem. for typing questions, I still got a pause when I were thinking wether I need include a curly bracket in a class definition (since the question said only keyword and space)..
more confidence, guys. I only prepare it 5 weeks, at the meantime, I still got to work everyday. I just read RHE once, and did lots of mock exams. my advice is to do mock exam as more as you can and stick this site frequently. I knew this site a week ago, and I followed maha's site for all mocks. last three days, I felt I am not ready so I got 3 days off and full time to do mock exam. I did 300 - 400 questions everyday.. and have done Jamis's 172 questions within one hour... this is not a good tips to follow (I felt information overload at that moment), I just want to memtion how important is the mock exam (such as marcus green's..)
ok, I don't want to waste you too much time to read this. good luck everyone!!

JavaRanch strongly discourages the sharing of actual exam questions. Any references to actual questions, sharing notes or publishing them will be automatically deleted by the moderators.
This is done to encourage a healthy learning atmosphere and to discourage unethical and illegal practices.
You can find plenty of sample questions at the Java Ranch mock exam list.

hi, hari, just go over all mock exams, some questions in the real exam are very similar with them (some actually are same!!).
best wish to you, and surya, udayan and ajith.
BTW, I still got a question: we always say that only interface, top level class and static inner class may have static variables, however, I found member inner class (non-static) may also have static variable if it is declared as final. does somebody can figure out this for me? pls, but no urgent since I passed already

Hi Hari,
Inner classes can contain final static variables. The static variables are not allowed in the inner classes and they are allowed only when they are defined as final static.
Hope this solves ur query
