Hai Pals,
I got through SCJP yesterday with 85%. Firstly, let me say thanks to Mr.Deepak, Anil Bachi, Maha Anna, Ajith and all other who helped in passing SCJP. Also thanks to Javaranch.
I used RHE .I have done some mock tests too.
What shall I do next?.
Shall I take Developers Exam as a my target?. I am presently in broadcasting media, but I learent Java,Java Script,ASP,SQL
Html..etc. I learent all of these with an aim of jumping to
IT industry. What will be the future for this industry. Shall I jump to IT industry or continue in my Broadcasting Industry?.
My aim is to concentrate on JAVA expecting some future demand for this. Which part in JAVA shall I choose?.I mean Beans,EJB, SSL ..etc. Which one will be the better ?.
Kindly suggest me.
I also want some JAVA Developers Links. Kinly let me know if any.
Bye..

Congratulations samayam!
Well..for many SCJP winners, SCJD seems the obvious next step. I have heard from a lot of people from the industry they'd prefer an SCJD candidate to an SCJP candidate, for reason that SCJP doesnot cover actual programming assignments.
If you want to swim with the current, you should learn EJBs and Servelets. After all, that's where the $$$$ is!!
Good luck,
Ajith

Hai Ajith,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I already have a knowledge in Servlets. I have about 60 % knowledge in servlets. I need to upgrade it. In fact I did two real time applications privately, eventhough i am working in a differnt field i.e in Brodcasting media. As you suggested
I will make Developers as my target and I will also try to learn
EJB.
Give me some SCJD information or links if any.

Have you looked at Javaranch SCJD Forum?? It's a great place to start. If you browse through the posts there you will find links to resources, books and a LOT of other helpful information.
Good luck
