Hello javaranchians
Did the new exam fromat is getting tougher .I have not seen any posting for 90% or more.Friends ,Please Share your experience with us even you have not scored in that level. That will be great help for all of us.
I had seen a posting ,that Sun want to increase number of java certified by lowering to 61%.It doesn't look like this case now as TIME LIMIT and MORE LONG CODED questions making it more difficult to score.
Please share your thoughts regarding the new format.

Hi freinds
I think..Sun has to keep to its word where they have mentioned in one place about the change in format that they have tried there best to keep the level of difficulty same.
But It could mean that since the time is reduced the passing score has been lowered.. and may be..may be...to further compensate for the reduced passing score. They have put some harder questions too...
What do you think
Cheers
Nasir

Hello
I think about this matter ,whether it is hard or not,can be told exactly by the person who had appered in both the exams.
So share some more thoughts about the exam,I had seen a comment from Lilla that she had written the exam and not that difficult ??
What is her more dtailed exaplanation about this,Is a experienced programmer with 3 to 4 month of coding experience will be able to pass the exam.??
Thanks for your comments

It will take at least 6-12 weeks before one starts seeing
90's and 100's because of a "natural curve".
Example with made up stats:
Say, 1 out of 50 who passes the java programmer test
may get over a 90% so a few hundred people will have
to take the new test and out of those 2-5% will be over the
90% mark. And out of the 20+ people who get over a 90%
say less then half even know about javaranch.
