Hello Everybody, I'm taking the certification exam in a couple of weeks time and I wanted to know how important it is ,to read JLS?Will it be worthwhile to read it NOW and if so where can I get it? Thanks, Gayatri
Hi Gayatri, It is a very good reference. I find it little bit more technical. I think because my knowledge about JAVA is still in preliminary stage. I would say use it only after getting some hang of the language. You will benefit more if you are already proficient. -Varsha
As far as my knowledge goes, I would say refer to JLS only if u have inclination and a want to know more of the intricasies of the topic which u r reading. It helps in getting to the core. I would say refer books which gets u relaxed with the subject matter and then move on to something detailed and technical as the JLS.
