Now the sun has increased heavily the prices for the JC, how many worthful candidates will appear for it. I guess the candidates appearing for JCP will naturally fall. Not only this previously the organinzations while recruiting were considering JCP candidates as they were worth, now with minimum people writing it, the organizations will not care for JCP.
I hope many of them will agree with me.

Hi,
I think that now only candidates who are really interested in Java and willing to make a commitment in terms of time and money will attempt it. This will be a natural filter and will add weight to the certification.
Earlier it was not so. The modus operandi was :
For (i=0;i<infinity;i++)>
{
throw a few bucks;
cram for 2 weeks;
write the exam;
if (passed)
exit;
}
I have seen SJCP's who are unable to debug simple compilation problems. Hope this change in the exam will prevent this.
