Hi all
Last friday I passed the exam. The score is not so high as I've seen here, but I did it!.
I did about 10 mock exams(Marcus Green too), with 80-93% right in most of them.
I'd been very busy this days...so I posted this today.
Many thanks to all moderators and greenhorns. This site is doing a great job. I've learned a lot here. I hope to come here frequently a help others in their way to certification.
About the exam
3 or 4 on IO
5 or 6 on Threads.
1 on GC.
4 or 5 on AWT.
3 on Collections.
A lot of on declaration, access control, overriding, overloading, language fundamentals, etc.
Time was a handicap for me. A lot of questions had a 10-15 lines code. Questions on threads were larger and tougher. I only had 15 minutes to review.
Keep on coding...IMHO it's fundamental to practise with almost real code.
Well, from now on I'll concentrate with OCP, as I'm working as a Oracle programmer and administrator. But I'll never forget JAVA...I think they both do a great duet...Don't you?

Regards.

Congratulations !!!
Geat passing, 72% is a good score and it does not matter as long as you have learned java.

Congrats Angel!,
That is a great score. I am also working on Oracle products and I
am unable to decide whether to go for the OCP exam after my SJCP.
Since these two are different domains, how do you think an OCP could value-add to someone with an SJCP?
Regards,
Uday.
