hi,
I just got through a question in a mock exam:
Q) What is the method used to schedule a thread for execution?
My ans. is start()
But they have given run()
I thought start() is used for scheduling the execution while run() is the execution of the thread.
Pls clarify!!!

Thanks

Sagar

You are right. To schedule a thread for execution, the method to be used is start()

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
