Hello JavaRanchians,
Thank you all for your help.Today I passed SCJP2 with 67%.I sincerely request all my friends
who have experience in java,still take some time off and study for the Exam.Don't repeat
the mistake I did.I studied the last couple of weeks before exam and that too not a
full time study and it took some time for me to recollect thereby I didn't have time to review.
Any way before I forget:
IO 4-5) :Concentrate on Constructors;
threads(7-8):Stress more on the Methods(eg notify() etc..)effect.;
Exceptions(Stress more on try block syntax.);
Strings concentrate on passing of Strings and StringBuffers objects to methods.);
GC nly one question (when GC);
Overloading/overriding:the max questions I got I think(Stress more on whether they are valid
methods or not);
Inerclasses Stress on anonymous inner classes) and also valid modifiers;
loops lease check the syntax for all the loops;
collections:importance of List/map/set;
lang:just remember the func of (abs,ceil,floor,round,max,min);
layouts try to write a program for different layouts and see the effect);
if I remember anything else I will post it in the site.
By the way I don't want to repeate the mistake I did for SCJP2 for my
Developer Exam.please could someone guide me from the scratch(I mean
where I have to register and how to Start Reading for it(and also time to dedicate
exclusively for it.);
I appreciate all.
thank you,
kamesh.

Congrats Kamesh !!!
I think you got the same questions which I got last week, ( I am feeling that because you said "only one question on GC").
All u have written is 100% true and I will also advice all future aspirants to check this post (or mine) and follow acordingly.
ALL THE BEST
regards,

kamesh.
Congrates .Can you tell us, which section you found most difficult & lengthy coding questions.
And one more thing, did you get any questions which require code that we have to type in (5 to 10 line).
Regards
Prasad

Hi Prasad,
There was only one question for me to type in the output in the Blank.You Don't have to worry no question asks you to type 5 to 10 lines of code and you cannot expect a code to be typed in within one and half minute!!!.
now to your First Question.
The time Consuming questions are in Threads wherein you have to analyse Fast and also there is lot of description on the multiple choices.You should be BOOM BOOM BECKER!!!in reading and understanding.
ALL the best .If you have any questions please let me know.
