Hey Fellow Ranchers, Can anyone who has taken the Sun Exam tell me if Khalid's pgjc-engine mock exam is harder or more easy than the real exam. I find it alot harder than any other mock exam I have seen. Should I use this exam as the true measuring stick. My highest score on that exam is a 62% and I used all of the time allotted. Well, if I were to compare it with the old exam. I'd say it's definately harder. But as for the new exam, I can't say becuase I never took it !!! I read khalids book plus the bill brodgen book "Java 2 (Cram Exam)" then I did some mock exams on the net...which are really important for practice and learning information which is essential. And after that I took the test. I suggest that you buy khalid's book. It's wonderful and will give you a really strong java background.

Ayman, I already have the Khalid book and I agree that it is very in depth compare to some of the other Exam books that I have seen. Furthermore the Khalid mock exam is a lot more difficult than any other I've taken(jawborski's, marcus green's 1-3, java ranch, Jxam and Jcertify). Although I do wish it actually told you what questions were missed as a learning tool.
Hi, Real exam is a lot easier than Kalid's mock exam. You need not bother if you get low score. You only note down where you are making mistake and that area you concentrate. Whenever you take any mock exam you make a note where you lacked skill. You should able to analyze the code quickly and find out any compile error, runtime error, what is the final output etc. solaiappan
