Hi, I heard the exam has changed since October sometime. Does anyone know how much different it is? passing grade is 61% .. which indicates that the exam might be harder... What do you guys think?

Hi sean ! The passing score is now 61%. I get the notion that now there are questions with lots of code. But this should not be a problem if one has little programming experience. Regards Danish Shaukat

Hi Sean, the new pass score is 61%, and the exam does contain a lot more code questions (25 - 40 liners). This can prove very tiring, when you are facing code question after code question. Since the code questions are quite lengthy and involve close investigation, this can impact your time, and the time may prove insufficient. Many of the code questions on the mock exams that I have seen do not replicate the difficulty of the new exam. I would recommend programming examples of everything that you have a doubt about and keep checking into the salon to see what the people who sitting the new format think and advise? Planning to SJCP by the end of November. Good luck

Thanks Brian, More coding.. I think I can live with that. What I worry about more is new exam might have questions on other packages and classes that all the mock exams did not have much emphasis on.. Theoretically we should know everything .. but who does in reality? Well.. Good luck to you, too . I am planning to sit the exam around mid November.
