I have 6+ yrs software development experience but no Java or C++. I want to become Java certified, and was going to start out with a online/cd-rom course and then move onto the the highly recommended books and mock exams I am hearing about. Can anyone suggest a good course? Thanks in advance Dean

Check the sun site for training http://java.sun.com/aboutJava/training/ Before buying anything check the following URL for guidelines, free course materials, and free mock tests. If you dont find it good then go buy stuffs. www.javaranch.com/maha

www.bruceeckel.com the book thinking in java is free ( 1.2 and 1.3 jdk) and in november 2000 he is coming out with a cdrom seminar that will have 15 + hours of audio and video! in pdf format (adobe to my knowledge ) I have the 1.1 jdk seminar and it is great!!!
