Hi! Guys I m in the process of preparing for the exams. I don't get much time to prepare and would like to know a few things 1) How important r the scores? 2)Is Passing enough to get me a good job? 3) If I fail or just pass can I give the exam again? 4)Does the attempts taken for passing count against you? Thank You. Pls reply ASAP Niles
Answers : 1. Your Sun Certificate wont have the score in it saying u passed the exam with this much score. u get 69% or 99% .. u r SCJP. But a good score is always nice to show in ur resume. 2. depends on where u live. just passing or having a SCJP certificate wont get u a job. If you have good skills and a reasonable experience this SCJP will give u some credit. To put that like this ... if two people are going for one post with equally same qualification and experience, then the person having SCJP has some good credits to outstand. Some people may not agree with whatever i say. but lemme tell something happened in real. A leading software company recruited 2 SCJP guys. They produced false experience and projected that they are SCJP and know Java well. they got the job. guess what ? they couldnt keep that for more than 15 days. just in 15 days they had to leave the job cos they couldnt handle it. It totally depends on individual person, his interests, knowledge, basic degree, background, experience and so on. Now u decide ) 3. & 4. You can give any number of time even if u pass or fail and the number of attempts dont count. Hope this helps

Dear Anbooo Sanygao, thanks a lot for your respose. I guess it is very difficult to live with low scores. i wasn't prepared for them and now i can't live with the feeling that my hard work resulted in such low scores. Maybe i ought to try harder next time. But one thing i m sure about..they say that the new time of 90 mins is enough but i think guys it is less cause if one of your questions has a bigger exhibit its difficult and you really loose on time ... as for me i feel the time was too less, for people who are going to appear hence forth, please TIME YOURSELF WELL. Thanxs once again Anbooo.
Best of Luck!! Niles
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
