Looks like the latest release of Jython (2.1) was released in 2001. Anyone know if there is any more development going on or has it pretty much halted.

It appears to be going forward now after a prolonged pause. Check Brian Zimmer's blog and the Jython wiki, which I found under "Jython News" at www.jython.org.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
