jxam says MenuBar can't be attached to only Frame.I went through
Jaworski book but could get the satifactory explaination about that.If MenuBar can't be attached to only Frame to what else it
can be?
Also there's a constructor
Menu(String label, boolean tf)
In java docs it's given if tf is true the menu can be torn off.
If tried but couldn't get any tearing off.According to the docs
it's implementatiom dependent.I can't get it.
please help me.

According to the API:
The MenuBar class encapsulates the platform's concept of a menu bar bound to a frame. In order to associate the menu bar with a
Frame object, call the frame's setMenuBar method.
Perhaps you are reading the meaning of the book incorrectly. Can you post exactly what it says?
