I had booked for scjp exam on 9th nov. However due to personal problem I canceled it.The concerned person at the center canceled it but he was rude and said that I should not have done like this.Can I give the exam on the same voucher? Will it create any problem for me? Is it legal to cancel the exam? What are the rules in such case? Please help me. thanx in advance

Well, I think that if you give them more than 24 (or it MIGHT be 48) hours notice, then it's no problem. However, if you do NOT, then they are not legally bound to give you your money OR another test. That is my understanding anyway. Don't worry about them being rude. Some people will just be rude regardless of circumstances. However, I WOULD be concerned that perhaps you did not give enough notice before cancelling the exam. As I said they may not be required to refund or give another exam. If that is the case, I thik you just have to accept the circumstances.

Thank you Matt for rendering help.Actually I cancelled the exam 4 to 5 days before exam.I just went at the center (without giving any notification )and told them to cancel.They cancelled it on the spot.So after doing this, is there any problem ? If possible please reply. thank you
