Hi, I am a new graduate in computer science and I would like to get certified as SCJP. I registered for the exam next friday(17th). I have been preparing from (say) 2 weeks and have a week more. I have some java coding experience and am not a beginner. I am trying to refer two-three study guides and check out websites like this one. Is it fine to proceed? I mean is it enough time to prepare for such an exam....I am planning on doing some mock tests and all.... Has anyone any suggestions? Nayana
Nayana, looks like you could do with some self evaluation. Try to do some mock tests and see where you stand. Try marcus green's mock tests. They are a good imitation of the original. If you score 75 or more on them, you can go ahead or else you better postpone and prepare some more. Best of luck! Shashi
