When objective says one package, do we need to study all the classes in the package? For Ex: Objective says lang package. Does it mean we need to study all the interfaces, classes and exception of that package?
Thanks,
Santhosh.

No Santosh. You will only have to study those classes and interfaces which come under the scope of the exam.It may be better if u know all the classes and interfaces, but this is not a necessity for the Programmer Exam.

Santosh,
If you just want to pass the exam and certified, read only the objectives mentioned in the Sun's website. If you also want to persue a Java career and want to be a good programmer, perhaps you should read as much as you can.
When you start working, your BOSS wants you to solve problems. After you're hired, your certification is only a piece of paper.
