When does a thread get NORM_PRIORITY and when does it get the priority of its parent thread?

hi rahul,
as far as i know, NORM_PRIORITY is default priority. so if you create any thread and do not exclusively assign any priority to this thread then it gets the default priority.but if it is a child thread or if it belongs to a thread group in that case it's default priority is same as that of parent thread or thread group.
i hope it clears your doubt.
